About Us

Bangladesh Angels Network Limited ("BAN", "we", "us", "our") is Bangladesh's largest angel investment network. BAN connects vetted, investment-ready founders with a global community of active angel investors.

Since our founding in 2019, BAN has facilitated over USD 11.4 million in early-stage equity investments across 54 startups, with individual cheque sizes ranging from USD 10,000 to USD 500,000

Our work prioritizes inclusion and climate impact. A majority of the ventures we support are women-led or climate-aligned. Our sister initiative, Bangladesh Women Investor Network (BWIN), exclusively sources women-led startups and mobilizes women angels to close representation gaps in boardrooms and leadership. We also manage dedicated mandates for climate and biodiversity, directing capital toward ventures with measurable environmental outcomes.

BAN's model combines syndication with hands-on founder services, including cap table advisory, investor-readiness coaching, and post-investment support, to make underrepresented founders investment-ready for angel capital. Angel Academy, our investor-education program, builds informed, active angels through tailored curricula and practical deal workshops.

BAN's early-stage capacity has been seeded by the Dutch Global Fund and Aavishkaar Capital.

BAN is not an investment fund. We do not pool member capital, and we do not provide investment advice. Each angel investor who transacts through BAN's network makes an independent investment decision.
